Makeup questions
Q: What kind of makeup do you use?
I only use high quality professional makeup products. My makeup kit consists of products from Dior, Chanel, Benefit, Makeup Forever, MAC, Bobbi Brown, YSL, Smashbox, Naked, etc.
Q: What waterproof makeup do you use?
Waterproof makeup holds up longer on your face, in case you cry or sweat. I use the following waterproof makeup products: airbrush waterproof foundation(completely non-transferable), mascara, pencil eyeliner, liquid eyeliner, lip liner, and a face setting spray. Take a look at the how to remove waterproof makeup.
Q. Do you do airbrush makeup?
All of my events’ have been done using airbrush because it lasts longer, looks great, and simply feels great. All my clients agree that it feels amazingly light on the skin, has great coverage, and does not “sweat off” or look “cakey”. I use the professional airbrush by Kett Cosmetics for all of my airbrushing.
Q: How does airbrush makeup work?
Airbrush makeup is sprayed on through an air compressor as a fine mist of color that gently covers the skin, giving the appearance of a flawless complexion. Spraying microdots of makeup that rest on the surface of the face looks more natural than traditional makeup because it isn't rubbed into the skin and doesn’t exaggerate the pores. This process allows the Airbrush makeup to conceal better while enabling your skin to breathe.
“Getting ready to meet” questions
Q: How do I prepare for our meeting (wedding clients)?
As a bridal client, you will need to complete a few preparation steps: (1) send me your photo and (2) send me examples of hair and makeup that you like or want to try. After I receive these photos, I get to work, thinking about how to achieve those looks for you.
Q: How do I prepare for a trial (wedding clients)?
For a trial, you will need to come with a “clean face”. That means, no makeup. The only thing on your face should be moisturizer, and lip balm. Before the day of the trial, your hair should be washed with shampoo only (no conditioner).
Reservation questions
Q. How do I book you for my event?
I prefer to first speak with you on the phone to get all the details of your event and to learn what you want. From there I will send you a quote listing the options that were discussed. If you need to schedule a tryout, we can schedule a tryout. If everything looks good, $300 deposit is required to reserve the wedding date. The deposit is nonrefundable and nontransferable. The formal contract will be signed when the deposit is recorded. Once the contract is signed, you will be booked.
Q. How soon should I book my makeup services?
A. I start booking weddings a year in advance so the sooner, the better.
